Exploring thermal and electronic interplays in materials for energy: from chalcogenides to interfaces
CARMEN 2025, a three-day workshop co-organized by the CNRS research networks GDR NAME and GDR CHALCO.
CARMEN comes from the joint will of GDRs NAME and CHALCO of enhancing the connections between their communities on common topics, concerning chalcogenides and nanomate-rials for applications in energy, with a focus on interface effects and phase change properties.
Specifically, it aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue around:
- Phase-change materials (PCM)
- Chalcogenides
- Energy conversion and storage
- Interfaces and nanostructures
- Advanced characterization and simulation techniques
Abstract submission deadline : 7th of november 2025
The workshop will include invited keynote talks, tutorials, contributed presentations, and a session dedicated to young researchers. More details are already on the web site !
A social dinner is planned on December 16, providing a convivial setting for informal discussions.
